Private is the youngest and shortest of the group. Even though he lacks experience in training, there's times when Private's the only one to resolve the problem. Despite being the youngest he's a skilled fighter, being able to fight well even when he's blindfolded as he defeated Skipper while training. He speaks in a British accent but Skipper thinks it's fake. Private's the only one with an accent which he probably used to live in another country before living at the Zoo. It's known that he can have sugar addictions as he did once to most likely his most favorite candy, Peanut Better Winkies. He also loves butterskotch lollipops. In a episode, it's known that he's talented at Mini Golf, going by the name of Mr. Tux when he used to play against his Golf playing rival, The Armadillo Kid in the past. Private is a fan of the show called Lunacorns, watching the episodes and owns a DVD and a Lunacorn toy that has a glow in the dark horn. He has an Uncle named Nigel who he mentions and later on, appears in a later episode.

Name Origin: A noncommissioned rank in the U.S. Army or Marine Corps that is below private first class. Before Episode 211a: Concrete Jungle Survival, Private's rank most likely was a noncommissioned rank that is below Private First Class but after his mission was complete in that episode, he received that rank. Private First Class being a junior military rank explains how he's the youngest of the group.

Major Episode Appearances

Since Private appears in every episode I can't simply call them 'Episode Appearances' can I? So, that's why they're called Major Episode Appearances since there are episodes that really focus on Private. I most likely won't put them all down just some of them.

Episode 115a: Skorca!

Private loses to the penguin's version of 'eenie-meenie-miny-mo' and gets put on aerial recon duty. Ignoring Skipper's command of not bringing anything sweet he brings his peanut butter winkies but ends up eating the entire box making him hyper as he see's something that looks like a giant flying whale through his binoculars. He freaks out and runs screaming back to the others, telling them that he saw an orca that came from the sky. King Julien calls it a 'Skora' as he combines sky and orca. The penguins decide to investigate but Skipper notices something on Private's beak which turns out to be some of his peanut butter winky and assumes that he imagined the orca. Despite the others not believing him he goes out to take on the Skorca alone to prove that it really exists. The others realize this and follow him, soon knowing that the Skorca is actually a giant parade balloon. The penguins take an elevator to get to the Skorca, with Joey wanting to take down Skorca. During the commotion, Private's beak pokes a hole in the Skorca as they fly off with only Private holding on as he's swept far away from the others. Believing that Private is gone Skipper and the others have a memorial service remembering Private when he comes back carrying a part of the defeated Skorca.

Episode 211b: Concrete Jungle Survival

After Private desires a promotion after Skipper forbids him to look at a joke contained in a classified mission file which he shows to Kowalski and Rico but not him. Skipper agrees to such a promotion but only if Private can pass a one-on-one survival test against "the most fear some beast in the concrete jungle" on the streets of New York where he is soon taken after passing out from a smoke bomb that Rico regurgitates. Left alone in the alley, Private is passed a cassette player by the other penguins that contains audio instructions on how to defend himself against his enemy. But he's soon interrupted by the lemurs who think they're on a camping trip and get in the way of Private who is trying to follow the tape's instructions. When he tries to tell Julien to stop it, Skipper jumps out of no where and reminds Private that he's suppose to fight on his own and tells him that they're going to introduce the enemy in song. Kowalski reveals the enemy through a song which Kowalski plays it with a banjo; an evil ghostly bus goes through the city, making roadkill out of animals known as the "Graveyard Eight" which Private must confront the bus and bring back a souvenir from it in order to pass his test. This confrontation occurs when the bus comes, while the lemurs are "sewer fishing" and gets their fishing lines tangled in it's bumper, taking them with it as Private races to catch up. Soon Julien gets himself free and goes inside the bus with Private to look for something sharp to be able to free the others which he finds with the name badge of the driver who is a short elderly woman with a deep voice who couldn't see the road. Succeeding on his encounter with Graveyard Eight, Private is promoted to Private First Class. He looks through the classified mission file, only to know that he doesn't get the joke.
